Joseph L. Flint, MD
Dr. Joseph Flint earned his undergraduate degree in Biology
in 1996 from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. He
then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical
College of Ohio (now part of the University of Toledo) in
2001. He completed his 3 year Pediatrics residency program
at the Children's Hospital of Illinois in Peoria.
Dr. Flint served with the United States Army at Fort
Campbell, Kentucky from 2004-2008. During this time, he
was, along with other pediatric staff, responsible for the
medical care of approximately 15,000 infants, children, and
adolescents. Dr. Flint served a tour of duty in Iraq from
2005-2006 with the 101st Airborne Division. During this
time, Dr. Flint served as the Medical Director of the Troop
Medical Clinic that was responsible for the care of more
than 5000 soldiers and other personnel. His service earned
him a Bronze Star.
In 2008, Dr. Flint joined Methodist Medical Group as a
full-time Pediatrician in Morton, Illinois. He served as
the Physician Site Lead for the Primary Care offices from
2010-2011. He also participated in Methodist's "Coffee with
the Doctor" program in 2011, speaking on ADHD.
In 2012, Dr. Flint left Methodist Medical Group to start
Delavan Pediatrics.
Dr. Flint has a special interest in the role of natural and
homeopathic treatments for common medical conditions.
He lives in Delavan with his wife and two sons.
